Niagara Falls History Museum
Local history is brought to life again at this informative museum. While this two-story, limestone structure built as a town hall in 1874 awaits your visit. Within its walls of the Niagara Falls history museum, visitors can browse displays about the 1814 Battle of Lundy’s Lane. (Also fought, in part, on the site of the current museum).

The Crystal Caves Niagara Falls Ontario
It was 1884. Hundreds of pounds of dynamite were assembled atop Clifton Hill to pave the way for the Niagara Falls railroad station. But when the first explosions to lay the foundations went off, everyone got more than they bargained for. Workers found deep caverns next to the site cut out of crystal.
Just beneath the surface and miles of icy tunnels so clear the men could see their reflections in the walls. Construction took years as each blast opened new crystal caves and weakened the earth below. When the station was finished, every entryway was sealed and the treacherous labyrinth forgotten… Or so the legend goes…

House of Frankenstein Niagara Falls Ontario
In 1895, Nikola Tesla was about to unveil the world’s first hydroelectricity plant at Niagara Falls. He would harness the energy of this natural wonder of the world and power the Eastern seaboard. Dr. Frankenstein knew it was time to reclaim the spotlight. So he stowed his own creation – a monster born to electricity.
Over the century that followed, Americans and Canadians sent the most evil ghouls and villains to join them – the Hunchback of Notre Dame, Jekyl and Hyde, and even Dracula himself. But a blackout in 1984 shut off the power to their prison gates and all of the monsters escaped to an abandoned railway station atop Clifton Hill.
