With 2017 Spring Events soon to be upon us, join us for lots of Things to Do right here in Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is always an exciting place to visit at any time of the year.  During and after the March break the entire family can be awed by the spectacular formations of ice that surround the falls, nearby trees and buildings.
When you want to warm up visit the Niagara Parks Floral Showcase and see their annual Spring Display.  This colorful display is of flowers, orchids and tropical plants. Downriver at the Butterfly Conservatory  see free-flying butterflies in a tropical setting.  There is no need to travel down south.

January 15 – April 16 2017 – Floral Showhouse Annual Spring Display @ Floral Showhouse

For over 60 years visitors come to Discover Paradise at this lush oasis.  This display is a short walk from the brink of Niagara Falls. Collections of orchids, succulents and other tropical plant species are on display throughout the year.  Enjoy the floral shows that reflect the changing seasons. Flying throughout the greenery are colourful tropical birds that may sing for your entertainment!

January 26 – April 16 2017 – Snow Exhibition @ Niagara Falls History Museum

Snow falls on the Niagara Falls History Museum during the 2017 Spring Events. Come and see how snow has helped shape our cultural identity. You’ll be “snowed” under. The first exhibition of its kind in Canada, portrays the amazing love-hate relationship that the inhabitants of this great land have had with snow since the arrival of the First Peoples in North America.

February 10 – April 15 2017 – Country Superstars @ Oh Canada Eh? Dinner Theatre

The 2017 Spring Events Biggest Celebration of Country Music North of the Grand Ole Opry! This two-hour musical revue features over 80 songs from your favourite Country Superstars of yesterday and today. First of all with the music from Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Reba McEntire, and Garth Brooks.  In addition enjoy the staples Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw, and Carrie Underwood.  Finally you can never to forget Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum, and Luke Bryan.  And threre are many, MANY more!  Paired with a down-home dinner, each evening starts with a delicious, southern-inspired, family-style meal.  This is all served by the show’s multi-talented performers!

February 13 – April 17 2017 – Northern Owls Exhibit @ Butterfly Conservatory

Fix your gaze on these mystical birds of prey during the 2017 Spring Events!  This exhibition provides a unique opportunity to experience owls and learn more about their extraordinary lives. Eleven beautifully-mounted owl specimens are featured in small settings suggestive of their northern natural habitats. Each display focuses on fascinating and less well-known aspects of owl behaviour, biology, and lifestyle.  The exhibition includes the following specimens: Eastern Screech Owls, Short-eared Owl, Long-eared Owl, Northern Hask Owl, Great Horned Owl, Boreal Owl, Barred Owl, Snowy Owl, Northern Saw-whet Owl and the Great Gray Owl.
